Sunflower Maze in Tayug,Pangasinan
Last April 9,2017 me and my sisters went to Sunflower Maze which found in Tayug, Pangasinan. Of course, as a huge fan of sunflowers I felt so excited for it addition to the claim that it's the first sunflower maze in the philippines ( I hope it makes sense). So, as you continue to read this blog I'm leaving Tips if you're planing to go there in your future travels.
1. How to get there?
So, I left a map here from Tayug town hall to sunflower Maze. If you're driving I recommend you to use google maps because it's so reliable and so useful for you as a traveller. It indicates when to turn left or right so you won't get lost in the middle of nowhere. Otherwise, for those who commute, you can ride tricycle to get there.
2. Is there entrance fee? And how much?
Yes! There's an entrance fee costing P100.00 per head but if you're Tayug Resident you can enter it for free. And as you enter, they will give you cute squash stamp.
3. Where can I buy food/drinks there?
There are different food stalls inside the area where you can buy foods and drinks. So better not worry about it.
For more questions, you can comment down below.
So, I have 5 tips here that can really help you not struggle when you go there.
* Bring your own Umbrella
Do you even wonder why that sunflower named that, it's because the flower turn toward the sun. So, expect a very sunny weather here. Renting Umbrellas in the registration cost P20.00 per Umbrella.
* Apply sunscreen or sunblock or apply both
Umbrella is not enough. Sun rays are very harmful to skin and just imagine staying in the maze for almost an hour.
*bring your own water and Towel.
When you spend outside in hot weather you
Tend to sweat a lot that's why I recommend you to bring towel, and as you sweat a lot you need to drink water to replenish the loss water in the body.
* Enjoy!
And lastly, enjoy the trip.
